MEET DEEPAK

Deepak is a General Partner at Blue Bear Ventures.  He coaches and advises entrepreneurs at the UC Berkeley Haas Business school since 2014 and is a mentor at various accelerators in Silicon Valley.

 

He has ten years of venture investing experience across three institutional funds. Prior to investing, he was part of 4 medical startups as either an entrepreneur or in management roles, having two exits with Cepheid (NASDAQ: CHPD), a molecular diagnostic company, and Neuropace (NASDAQ: NPCE), a medical device company.

 

He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
